Wetland and GIS Specialist

Shaelee possesses a Bachelor of Environmental Studies with Honours from the University of Manitoba. Shaelee has been with Native Plant Solutions since 2022 providing both technical geographic information systems (GIS) and biological expertise. Shaelee is responsible for conducting hydrological analysis on natural prairie wetland systems as part of restoration feasibility and urban development studies.

She also is responsible for mobile spatial data collection and creation of cartographic products. Shaelee has experience in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting biological field data and writing comprehensive reports. Prior to her current position at Native Plant Solutions, Shaelee worked as a Conservation Technician with Native Plant Solutions providing maintenance to wetland and upland projects including seeding, vegetation assessments, seed harvesting and processing, and report writing.
