Henteleff Park not only provides a quiet sanctuary for community residents to escape city life but also has an interpretive value educating people about their natural environment.

Henteleff Park is a 0.5 ha portion of park planted with tall grass prairie species. Native Plant Solutions selected grass and forb species for the site, oversaw site preparation, seeded the area, and conducted weed control on the site until it was established. The project began in 2007 and was completed in 2010.
